Appointments & Policies
When you call for an appointment, be sure to specify which office you want to be seen at. Our scheduling and charting systems are linked, so we can accommodate you in any office.
Our hours are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday in all offices. We will make every effort to accommodate your schedule.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give us 24 hours’ notice. We have other patients that may need to be worked in. On occasion, we might have to reschedule your appointment with us, we will make every effort to reschedule you for a time convenient for you. Please contact us at (757) 574-9714.
It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure that a valid referral is on file for the services being rendered. Referrals are usually good for 30 to 60 days depending on the carrier and in the cases of Allergy shots, some carriers will allow a global referral (up to 1 year).
Please be courteous to the Primary Care Physicians (PCP) and request the referral early as some of the offices require 3 to 7 days of advance notice. The patient may need to pick up the original referral from the PCP, however, in some cases, the PCP is willing to fax the referral to our office. We do accept faxed referrals.
In the event of an emergency that is related to an ear,nose or throat problem, please do not hesitate to call the office and explain what is occurring. If you are calling after hours with an emergency, our answering service will contact the on-call physician. In the event of a medical emergency that requires immediate medical attention, please call 9-11 or report to your local emergency room.
